Hi! My name is Shannon Trimboli.

I live in southcentral Kentucky. I am a wildlife biologist, environmental educator, professional speaker, author, beekeeper, and owner of a nursery specializing in plants and habitat consulting for pollinators and wildlife.

I have always loved exploring nature and learning about different plants and animals. I also have a passion for teaching and sharing my love of nature with others. That passion expresses itself in my presentations and classes, my books, my blog and podcast, and even in the habitat consulting that I do.

My goals are to

  • help people in the eastern U.S. appreciate the pollinators, wildlife, and nature in their yards and communities,
  • inspire people to become actively engaged in conservation through activities such as pollinator gardens, gardening for wildlife, and citizen science / community science.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my love of pollinators, wildlife, and nature with you. I hope I can help ignite a spark or fan the flames of your own interests in those topics.

Snapshots of My Career

My career has taken a twisty curvy path that has included field work, environmental / informal science education, community science / citizen science project development, beekeeping, and much more. I can’t wait to see where the next adventure will lead me.

Let’s Talk

I really am passionate about sharing my love of nature with others. As you can see from the rest of this website, I do that in a number of different ways. I’d love to talk with you about ways I can help you discover and enjoy the nature around you.
